May 2018 Havasupai Trip

This food gave me great energy for hiking 45 miles and camping for 3 days.  Way more salt and sugar than my body was used to, though, and it may be the reason my arthritic hands hurt so much by the end of the trip.





All food in metal mesh bags because of the squirrels!


Sandwich thins with tuna and a bit Trader Joe's seasoning and veggies on the side.

Mountain House.  Hits the spot after a strenuous day, but SO much sodium.
Next time I will share with someone and eat some healthier food with it.

This oatmeal was a GOOD idea.  Especially the blueberry kind (the banana chips just didn't work in this)

PB & J on sandwich thins.

Mexican Flat Bread with taco toppings and nutella.  Tasty but my body wasn't lovin' it.
